​New gear set: Encyclopedic 3

The Encyclopedic 3 is huge! It continues the design style of the Encyclopedic 2, and adds large pen holes to the mix. Like the Encyclopedic 2 it is on multiple large gear set sized sheets (called pages). The Encyclopedic 3 gear set contains gears 91 to 170 and has 14 pages.


There will be a new pricing option for this gear set. Pricing will work as follows:

• You can buy individual pages at the regular large gear set price of CAD$99 each.
• If you buy enough of them you are eligible to use the bundle15, or bundle25 coupon codes for the 15% or 25% discounts that they offer.
• You can buy the whole gear set bundle (all 14 pages) at a bundle price of CAD$1120. Which works out to be $80/page.
• The standard discounts codes can be applied on top of that.
• These compound discounts will be offered until the end of September, at which point they will be reassessed.

Corrections to some numbers in the Rack Shapes gear set:

There are some parts on the Rack Shapes gear set that were incorrectly numbered. 

The parts that have been corrected are;
Rack Shapes Page 1:

• 120 triangle is actually a 111 triangle
• pentagons 55, 80, and 105 are actually 60, 85, 110,

The tooth numbering and prime factors has been corrected.

If you have bought the rack gear set and would like updated parts with the corrected numbers you can get them for only the cost of shipping. Please reach out to me at [email protected]. 
If you are ordering anything they can be included with the order at no extra cost. If you'd like them shipped to you we can determine what the shipping rate will be.  I wish that I could offer free shipping for the replacement parts too.

Shipping news and important dates for Americans:

If you are in the USA and thinking of ordering a some Wild Gears it will be significantly less expensive if you do it now, before August 29th. 

Wild Gears ship from Canada.  There is, currently, a USD$800 (~CAD$1104) threshold for packages, under which they have no duty collected. That threshold is slated to be removed entirely on August 29th, 2025. This means that packages that are currently able to be imported without any duty being collected will be subject to fees after August 29th.

If you are thinking of doing this, please order as soon as you can.  I need time to make, package, and ship your order, and it needs to cross the boarder before August 29th.  I will do everything I can to make sure orders have the best chance to clear customs before the deadline.
