Wild Gears: Laser Cut Perfection
High precision, laser cut, acrylic gears mesh and move to create beautiful and enigmatic designs.
Each Wild Gears product is called a Gear Set and is laser cut from a solid sheet of acrylic. This process for manufacturing the gears provides unsurpassed gear precision and materials quality which leads to gears that work better and designs that are smoother.
The gear sets are used to make art by putting a gear in a ring and moving it around or by making a stationary gear and moving another gear around it. There are many other ways to use the Gear Sets but those are the two primary methods that everything else builds off of. For an example please watch the video below.

There are many different Gear Sets divided into three categories: Small and Large and Adjunct
Small gear sets are 200 mm x 200 mm. Large Gear Sets are 400 mm x 400 mm. Adjunct Gear Sets are 200 mm x 200 mm but explore simpler themes than the small gear sets.
