The gear set frame is 40 cm x 40 cm (~15.75 inches x 15.75 inches). The frame is cut into 3 pieces: the main oblong, and two triangle parts for the 96 cutouts.

By using the hoop in the large oblong it is held stationary. A design can be made in the stationary hoop and then the hoop can be moved in a wide variety of ways and additional designs added.

Hoops with an outer diameter of 210 are key to the function of this gear set but due to geometry cannot be included in this gear set. They are included in the Full Page Gear Set and the Full & Plentiful Hoops Gear Set.
